THANKS FOR YOUR MONEY & SUPPORT !
As I am sure some of you know already, we completed our 'task' in just under 8 hours. I will post photos etc. as soon as I can master Picassa !!
I don't really want to bore you all with the details, but in a nutshell we managed to get back after 8 hours solid walking. We were pleased with our time considering we had only walked 5 miles in the first 2 hours!!
It is bank holiday Monday and the temperature is well into the 70s and I feel I should be sat outside with a smirniff ice - so guess what ? Yep, I am going to sit out ! See you all later.

NEEDLEWORK
Our needlework skills have been put to the test ! I thought it would be easy, it wasn't. Firstly, I didnt have a needle and thread, I thought I had a little box where I had pins / needles etc., but Tom said he had never seen it in use so he threw it out. Secondly, Joanne decided to cut her boa in half, in principle this seemed a good idea (if it had been in her house), the dining room looked as though she had been plucking chickens !! The good news is we now have bright pink bras with bright pink feather boa and flowers attached to the front ... stunning !
We have received all our instructions from the Moonwalk team and there are rather a lot of do's and dont's - more don'ts than do's! One of the do's is to make sure we practice walking in our bras, or at least walk around the house in them. Jo took her first step in public on Sunday afternoon and walked over from her house to ours - wearing just a bra (she did also have her track suit bottoms, I hasten to add), what can I say, Tom opened the door to let her in .......... I may wear mine tonight, but then again ........
Only one week to go now until the 'big day'. We completed the Kendal Star Walk on Saturday and completed our 9.3 miles in 2hrs 25 minutes, we collected our medals and walked home (are we bonkers or what!). We just have 2 further walks this week and then set off to London on Saturday afternoon. We are travelling to London by train which is just as well as we have a booklet to read (as mentioned above), with that many things we can and can't do, we will have to make sure we are fully 'read up' before we dare enter Hyde Park.
Well, thats it now, until next week. I will be taking my camera so should have loads of pictures and will hopefully post these as soon as I can after next weekend.
Oh, and finally, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has sponsored us - our total as of today is £1106.
